school has got me ridiculous busy, but yeah here i am.

ok. so during the course of my move in december, i lost my social security card. don't know where it went. in the meantime, my old id expired. now i am stuck in bureaucratic limbo...dmv says, "we can't give you a new id without a social security card"...social security says, "we can't give you a social security card without a valid id". so, uh, awesome. apparently i have removed myself from the grid. does this mean i can stop paying taxes?

yeah, hi. stuff has been all like, y'know. i'm constantly broke, and it's cold outside, and i really need to go to the grocery store and so laundry. but who cares, i'm back in school. as of may 18, i am northeastern illinois university's newest geography major. whoopie ti yo. ok. so now i need to get make some coffee.

somehow, every year, i manage to see the bayou classic halftime show. today, i came hom from shopping for polish groceries, turned on the tv just as it was starting. i didn't even realize it would be on. it was clearly meant to be.

i decided not to go to work today, pretty much just because i didn't feel like it. as i'm sitting here, i'm looking around and i'm reminded of how much retarded shit i need to get done, like quick.

1. get an illinois id. my california drivers license expires next month. it's also been suspended because of a stupid fix-it ticket that they never received payment on, even though i did mail it on time.

2. turn in financial aid paperwork to the college, when i still don't even know if i've been accepted.

3. clean & carry in about 125 lps & 12s to work to list for sale.

4. carry about 40 lps & some dvds to reckless to try & sell.

5. get rid of old clothes that no longer fit me, of which there are a lot.

6. find a place to live.

7. tell my parents.

8. possibly get a mobile phone (i hope it doesn't come to that, i've held out too long to give in now).

it's sad to think i could get all of this done today (well, maybe except for 6 & 7) if i had a car. but even if i did, i couldn't even drive it. sweet.

so much for false hope.
